Pair of Assisted-Opening Sidelocks

A pair of 1908 W. Horton 12-bore assisted-opening sidelock ejectors with 28-inch barrels, signature fluted fences, Polygrip top lever, adjustable trigger pulls and a hidden third bite. The source describes the pair as sympathetically restored. They were reportedly presented to the family of their then-current owner by Lieutenant Arthur Alexander Pitcairn of the Black Watch, who served during the Second World War, including the Battle for Crete.
