Description

A circa-1870 John Manton Son & Co. 12-bore double-barrelled hammergun built around the firm’s 1865-era mechanism. It has 30-inch bold Damascus barrels, a Jones patent rotary underlever, John Emme patent extractor mechanism, signed non-rebounding back-action locks, carved percussion fences and dolphin hammers. Fine border and bold acanthus-scroll engraving complete the gun.
